Dog & Cat Poker Run Information

New Hope Dog & Cat Poker Run Raises $2,500 for The Crossings Animal Sanctuary!

Featured an 80-Mile Motorcycle Ride through Bucks County and a Sunday Afternoon “Destination Celebration” at Fran’s Pub in New Hope

What a glorious Indian summer day for a 90-mile motorcycle ride through beautiful Bucks County! Over 70 riders and passengers participated in the ride that began at Brian’s Harley-Davidson in Langhorne, and ended with a destination celebration at Fran’s Pub in New Hope. (Click HERE to see Photo Gallery for this event).

Riders were greeted by Animal Allies and Tails of Love Animal Rescue at the first pit-stop, Bowman’s Tavern. The ride continued to Gardenville Hotel, Piper Tavern, Tohickon Tavern, and Apple Jacks in Point Pleasant. At Fran’s Pub in New Hope, the riders were greeted by CAS volunteers, and enjoyed great food and drink, some live music, and the chance to win raffle prizes.

Congratulations to our poker run winner, Jeff Myers, who won a 37’’ LCD TV (he picked it up at our office—we didn’t make him carry it on his bike!)

Special thanks to Fran’s Pub, who donated 10% of the food revenue from the day to CAS, and to Brian’s Harley-Davidson. Thanks as well to the restaurants who hosted our pit stops, our event sponsors, and to Animal Allies and Tails of Love Animal Rescue.

Hope you’ll join us next year for the second New Hope Dog & Cat Poker Run!
